Was just kidding of course! And MoK is certainly not fat, and infinitely more stylish than most anyone at the mall. nod[1].gif

Wondering what's the pattern on the shirt? Looks nice. I used to really dislike the shirt peeking out in front of the sweater when this was "a thing" a while back… but mostly because there was too much shirt hanging out and it just looked contrived. You've got just enough to break up the color block between you top and bottom halves, so good deal. How you liking those jeans? Tough to break in?

More than incipient middle-aged spread I'm sorry to say shog[1].gif

There are a few big out of town shopping centres in the UK - Lakeside, Bluewater etc. but thankfully mall culture hasn't truly taken off over here. I avoid out of town shopping centres with great loathing (not that most of our high streets have much going for them).

My reference point for the brisk walk is obscure to the degree that I can't point you to it, but I remember reading something about rowers training for a race in the early 20th C I think. And there was a journal entry quoted in which the day's training was described along the lines of "Brisk walk along riverbank wearing heavy overcoat, 1 1/4 miles."

Pattern on the shirt: Not my photos... (Click to show)

From the NMWA Tumblr and site

Jeans haven't been hard to break in at all. They aren't the kind you size down on the fading has been pretty gentle so far, but I'm OK with that. They are unsanforized, so I think they may get a little trimmer as I wash them. Hopefully not too much shorter.

Regis you're too swole for raglan.

It could be that you're hunching forward a bit to take the pic, but I'm not a fan of the sweater fit.

Pants and boots look good.

I'm digging the virgin wool/silk combo at the moment and all the Margiela silk knits I've handled have slim arms (Unless I size up two sizes). Thats what I go for though slim in the arms and somewhat relaxed around the body....I'm in the slim for life minority man

I will say though that I'm going to have start cutting back on the Rick Owens school of though

FTFY.

I love SF. And I'm by no means poor...but I often get the feeling there isn't much diversity of thought in the lives of people on here (especially when considering class as a factor)

^not sure if raw indigo are the best pants to go with all that other dark stuff but looks cool

have the same sneakers and I'm considering dying/painting the soles black to look more like the old version because that gum bothers me but maybe I'm wrong
