That's pretty cool man. It's difficult enough just to look good in those brands, but you also make them look interesting.

Couldn't agree more.  The turtle neck, the jackets color & pattern and even his parted hair makes this look perfect.

All that's missing is a scotch on the rocks.

Ha!

I was watching an old Dick Cavett show on TCM and he was interviewing Robert Mitchum(90 minutes!) and for most of the interview, Mitchum was drinking scotch on the rocks in a clear cup. It was awesome.

Agreed - the 'idea' really stands out beyond the pieces, creating an interesting whole. A well executed ensemble of cheap pieces is always going to look better than a badly put together collection of pricey stuff, but you've really raised it. To be fair some bits I've bought in H&M in the past haven't been awful and make okay basics mixed in with other stuff (although I find the trawl for the one nugget amongst the crap too much of a hassle these days). I do challenge someone to come up with a decent fit from the H&M Balmain stuff though wink.gif

Thank you!  Mall bought requires some toying with before you can come up with anything that doesn't look like a commercially styled mannequin.   Maybe thats just me as I tend to get blinded by the obvious way to style something

Like most I only wish my clothing fund was endless.  I can afford the occasional nice piece which has lead to a few I can pull from but the cheapies are critical in almost every look i come up with.
