HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014)

A jacket my friend gifted to me, the fit is okay, but I don’t know how I feel about the lapel, have checked with my tailor and it won’t be ez to alter the lapel;(

I received my MTO suit. I chose a VBC dark blue hopsack with butterfly lining.
Made adjustments for shoulder slope, arm and leg length differentials as well
as lowering the button stance and slightly lengthening the jacket. Also chose
to have peak lapels.
I think it came out pretty well.

For today:

• shoes: Crockett & Jones
• socks: Pedemeia
• trousers (dark green): Scavini
• suspenders: Albert Thurston
• shirt: Lanieri
• jacket (brown): Pini Parma
• tie: Shibumi Firenze
• pocket square: Fumagalli 1891
• coat (navy blue): Mackintosh
• hat: Stetson.

I went to the Proper Cloth anniversary party. I had a good time. Proper Cloth shirt and tie.

This was actually yesterday..

April 22nd is Earth Day. Most public transportation in the Los Angeles area is free on Earth Day, so went to Redlands, usually a $21.00 round trip from Los Angeles ($10.50 for old folks like me).

It may have been free but I still wanted to make sure the trains were on time, so checked the timetable at every station.



Brooks Brothers jacket and tie, L L Bean OCBD shirt, Viyella sweater vest, Squarextraordinaire pocket square, Lands' End trousers, Nordic Socks, and Allen-Edmonds shoes.

Went to Sugar Bloom Cakery And Coffee in Redlands, took Marie Antoinette's advice, and ate cake.



Although my Chinese zodiac sign is a pig, only had one thing and left plenty of good things for everyone else.

The style of that lapel reminds me of one of the custom options I've seen on an AliExpress custom store I know of.

Yes, it's the concave lapel, the opposite of the bellied one, pretty attractive, as I see.
