Chocosa, I feel like that tie and suit shouldn't go together well, but they do! Awesome!

Excuse the leaves. We intentionally left things untidy for Halloween ambiance. Hope they'll be gone sometime this week.

I know! I wanted to keep it very fall like, with the heavier textured suit, wool tie and wool P.S with the overcoat..maybe its proof that blue and black can work? Thanks Ridethecliche!

The jacket is a great example of how to dress with real ease.  The colors immediately draw the eye.  But the sharpness of the trousers and the collar is hat really brings out the attractiveness of the unstructured, slighly rumpled jacket and askew tie.  A lot of guys try this, but often not to the same good effect.

Four stripes today + herringbone and paisley. Maybe I'm addicted to patterns.  I'm having pattern withdrawal from yesterday.

:satisfied: relaxed nothing louder than anything else kind of fit  -  like NYRs   Mostly solids in a mix of textures, so grown up.

I'm really glad you're back posting.  I love the jacket, and would be happy to know the provenance of the cloth.

That gorge dates the jacket a little too much for me.  I've got some like that and I figure if I wait long enough the right combination of gorge, lapel, back and shoulder'll come back in style.

I agree that it dates the jacket, but I like it so much more than the current skinny lapel and/or high gorge (I've seen some where the collar ends at shoulder seam) trends that's been going on.  My initial plan was to wear grey socks today, which I notice you do a lot, but I couldn't find them.  It turns out my wife had them in her sock drawer.  Wives...SMH.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not off them.  It's just gotten too cold for them in my opinion.  If it's any consolation, you probably won't see them again until spring.  :bigstar:
