My best friend is 6'7" though, and his brother is 7'3", so I'm used to feeling short.

Being around people 6'7" and 7'3" could give anyone 5'10" a complex smile.gif. Thanks for the compliment, in any case.

GMMcL, dem shoes is... wow. Bold move.

I expected they'd get a very polarized reaction. But it's what I was feeling.

Actually, truth: I put on my cap toe balmoral boots -- even had the left one fully laced -- and the lace on the right one snapped in my hand. This was the (somewhat hasty) second choice.

Black watch and houndstooth.  Keeping it country.

AAS, the pinstripes in the shirt and the fine-wale corduroy on diverging lines has a jarring effect, and I think the shirt is too light as well.  Solid blue OCBD would seal the deal on a combination I like quite a bit otherwise.

I agree.  I wore my blue OCBD yesterday though.  :(

Ballsy tie, Gerry. I guess the pairing against the heavily saturated shirt is a good way to go, but I cant say Im a fran. I think with a white/cream summer suit would be most ideal.

Paisley is fine, but a different color like a rust or burgundy based paisley would have been rad.

I did not say paisley is not fine, I said I was not a fran of that paisley tie.

There's a reason I didn't quote your post, even though I know how to use that function.
