This is the last fit for about six weeks. All my ties, shirts, and pants, and shoes are packed and ready to be shipped back to the US. I have two jackets in progress, but when they are done, I'll have nothing with which to wear them. I figured I'd go loud one last time.

That's great (for us too), but I really, really, really don't like that tie (colours, pattern, pretty much everything about it), and especially not in combination with this suit and PS. Sorry.

@Claghorn , I still like that jacket, but I still don't think you've found the right combination of things to wear it with. This is close though. It's a tricky one.

I'm sticking with gray or cream pants, light blue shirts, brown ties, and calling it a day with that jacket. But I tell you what, I love the way it looks hanging in my closet. I suppose we all need a museum piece or two in our collections.

Claghorn, I know this might be slightly off topic, and maybe you've shared the story before but I'm a new member here. Now that you mentioned your move back to the US, I've always wondered what brought you in South Korea in the first place? Was it work-related? Anyway, great fit, I love this jacket!

Initially work in logistics. And then work in a bunch of other things. And research. And teaching (I guess this is work? It's hard, but it's far too enjoyable to be called work. Except grading. Uchh). And getting married. And the American economy.

if i had more money and more closet space, id have a slew of those kinds of pieces.

in any case, i think todays combo was nice, and safe travels to you and your clothings.

I recall seeing you mention academia at times before. Is that what you will be doing on your return to the US?

That's OK. I appreciate the feedback. It's Tom Ford and I've been struggling for the couple of months since I got it (from Spoo) to work it into something. I figured something solid would be a good idea, but I think you're right, the suit is too formal. Suggestions welcome.

The PS does have hints of the olive in there, FWIW.
