I'm still learning what plays well with this suit. The next time, I might go with a lighter blue shirt and a darker pocket square.

Still trying to figure out my picture set up. For some reason, in this lighting, my camera has a really hard time focusing on some of my jackets.

Does that actually work? I've read mixed reviews.

I have the Tarrago nano protector and I have used it on suede. Water just bounces of.

How long does it work for? A day/week/month?

I respray maybe quarterly. It mostly comes off when you brush the shoes. I think I may have a video of it in effect on my cell, let me check.

Looking good! I think you're right about the shirt given the scale of the stripes. The vertical stripes come together in the suit and shirt a hair, but it looks good all the same. Is it a blue overcheck or is there another color in there as well?

I do it to a few of my shoes, no issues yet.

If you spray your shoes, why do you brush them? Does the suede settle or do they get dirty that fast?

MF, it does work, nano protector plus a dainite sole pretty much makes for bone dry in most of the weather.

I'll lightly brush 'em maybe once a month throughout the year and spray once a month in the autumn/winter. Suede is comparatively low maintenance...

Cheers, Cleav. I'll order some, because it looks like it's going to be a very wet autumn.

You're welcome mate. All of that ^^ said, if it's really tipping it down I might not reach for the suede every time smile.gif

The nano protector does a terrific job at preventing liquids and dirt from penetrating, but it is no match for severe mechanical abrasion. Sometimes I scratch the toes of my shoes on the pedals in my car and after a quick brush with a suede brush to remove the stain I reapply the nano protector. I've been waterproofing over eight pairs of suede shoes with this for the last three years and am only on my second can. Shoes that I don't wear frequently see a reapplication maybe once every 6-9 months.

edit: here's a video

liquids that have been personally tested are: water, beer, red wine, mustard and olive oil. So far Tarrago has measured up to the advertised promises.
