Something a bit out of the ordinary when it comes to the colour palette. I also just polished my boots using dark brown, black and burgundy shoe polish, and I quite like the way it turned out.

MF, I love that Eidos, a nice pick up from your US sojourn! Fits you really well as do the trousers.

The top block is nice. I'm less sure about the bottom and the entirety. If linen trews, I think a good choice fabric wise, but the colors of the coat and trousers on my screen aren't working together, sort of different "yellows" that pull in different directions. Light SCs are hard, as you know. You have some white pleated trousers that I think would work really well, to keep the summery, casual look (London still sunny and warm?). Could be my screen though, and the cream trousers are more white irl.

Shoes are beautiful, though perhaps too formal and dark for this outfit?

Thank you for the feedback, Tweedy, it's much appreciated! I usually wear this jacket with off white trousers, but I thought I'd mix it up a a bit. I'm still doubting whether this is a successful pairing. These trouser are 50/50 silk linen. Here's an accurate picture of the colour difference. What do you think? Yay or nay?

Agreed, the shoes are too dark. I really need light suede string loafers. But I also need a mid grey flannel suit, a navy flannel blazer suit, some black bal boots, and about 10 more Luxire shirts. Tough choice.

MF, I like the last photo in terms of bringing out a better contrast. If that's how it looks IRL, with the coat a bit more brown, then I think that's better. I suppose in part, as I don't wear yellow, part of my response is likely rooted in that. Your trousers have a good buttery tone! I appreciate pushing things, as you're doing, and I learn from it.

On shoes, I'd go for something more in this tone:

I think a bit more brogueing would be good in the fit. This would also be great (split toe, Carminas):

Thanks! I knew I recognized it from somewhere. I picked up some Carmina loafers from them not long ago.

Nice fit. But if this is a bespoke or MTM pattern you can have the maker lower the gorge a bit.

Might just be the angle.

Going out fit. A bit too casual for this thread, but it's a slow day.
