Another sunny summer day with high temperatures so I decide to wear a cotton/linen trousers and a fresco sports coat.

Keep the jacket and tobacco monks but team them with white shirt and pocket square, charcoal tie and grey wool pants several shades between tie and jacket.

Do those jackets come in bright colours too? Somehow you pull this off very well. I couldn't but in the right setting and climate it's good. Against my better judgment I suppose not all solid colours have to be sober

Very, very nice but only James Bond is allowed to wear a watch like that with a suit.

Kulata, Red Devil - killing it.

I had to give a lecture to some visiting Chinese surgeons today, so I decided to break out a special suit.

In line with recent advice from respected co-contributors, I toned everything else down. Hence, plain white oxford-weave shirt; plain white Irish linen square in a TV fold; shoes are a little outré but only if you look at them carefully.

Big thanks to @conradwu for the shantung tie, @Henry Carter for the square, and @steveyoo1983 (Gentleman's Footwear) for the lizard monkstraps.

The weather is alleged to be cooling off a bit, and the air drying out, so I'm back in a suit for today. Today's attire is about as close to "conservative business dress" as I am capable of coming.

I liked Kulata's outfit so much I went back a few pages just so I could like it. I'm very lazy so it's a significant commitment.

and it worked too IMO- if ur going to wear an outraaaageous suit like that one those r the right kind of accessories I think

I'm usually not a fan of wearing chronographs with suits but this looks very nice. Maybe it's the 'country' cloth.

@kulata great outfit, even in comparison with @RedDevil10s. Is it a different sillouette for you? What is the suit?

Almost wore pinstripes today for same reasons upr crust mentioned, but will save that for Monday.
