On another note...the suitsupply buttons seem very large...is this just me thinking this? or are they actually disproportionately large?

Oh, no. Don't fold your arms like that.

Probably just the picture - they are definitely on the slimmer side.

Would appreciate your feedback on the pocket squares and some different options w/ that combo. I've learned a ton from this forum over the past year or two - looking forward to learning more.

Ernesto - noted on the arms cross. Just trying new things for the picture.

Was just thinking, "Why is SB wearing cords in the middle of summer?"  Probably because the high in SF is in the low 60s.  Carry on.  This jacket is growing on me.

It's not at all bad, but this is one the few fits of yours I'm not feeling -  the collar on the shirt, the shoulders and chest on the SC, and of course the color of the ties/shoes.

Do you think that fancy shoes goes well with that borring Oxxford clothes suit, or is the contrast to hard?

I like the first one apart from the  sprezz.  Fills the contrast gap between tie n shirt?-  check.  Different scale design?-  check.  Adds  life to the fit?-  good.    I find that a patterned tie and  square against solids (or patterns that resolve to solids) can look contrived, but here I think it works.

In the second fit that square is a little outta place, but not egregiously so. White linen'd be bettr.  Both fits are pretty terrific BTW IMO

My initial entry for the Friday Challenge was disqualified as there was a navy stripe in my otherwise lavender shirt. At the suggestion of a poster at AAAC, today I'm trying a total monochrome approach, with more than a touch of classic film noir detailing to it. Hope that it meets with some approval.

Suit - RLPL
Shirt - Tyrwhitt
Tie - Bloomingdale's
Braces - Trafalgar
Collar pin - BB
Cufflinks - Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
Boots - Paul Stuart (Grenson Masterpiece)

What's wrong with folding arms in a pic? Almost every regular poster here does it.

This look suits you incredibly well, crusty. All the individual items are very nice, but the way you've paired them in an austere colour palette works really well.

Very dapper....but is that a pesky loose thread on your pocket square? shog[1].gif

Pesky loose thread sprezz. Might have to incinerate that one.

I really like the darker blue shirt here. For me it pulls everything together nicely. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Todays. Went with something a little different, a minty green dress shirt.
