Claghorn pretty much broke it down so I won't comment on your fit, since I am not really qualified myself.

From what I have observed, I believe you post once in a while here and there and think it would speed up your progression if you post here more often. And judging by your last post, I do not think you are making much progression. It would help if you become more engaged in here and actually improve upon feedback. Maybe you are, but I am just not seeing it.

I've actually just been quite busy and haven't had the chance to post much, plus I don't actually have that many pieces to put together outfits I want to, but hopefully my coming trip will sort that out. Got a lot of stuff planned. Thing is I think I have a decent idea of what to do, but I don't actually have enough odd jackets that aren't part of suits that would be too appropriate, and I've posted every one of my suits already, so there isn't much I can post that wouldn't be a rehash of what I already have posted, which is why I didn't post that one just now until I saw someone post something similar and thought I'd get some thoughts.

I'm finally getting a couple of blazers and flannel trousers, so that'll help, and also I have a better idea of judging fit now so hopefully I'll be able to get something that fits me well.

Hold strong on the no PS, Murl. When/if you are ready, you will know.

Mr. Chris is always so good.

Sounds like an overcorrection, which is often more egregious than the initial error.wink.gif

You have the right of it. The last time I went to my tailor, I said, "latex me."

For me, it's all about the attention it would draw. That may sound crazy, but I work for the government....some of the worst dressed people on the planet. What I wear on a daily basis draws good attention and compliments, but I feel a PS would cross the line into peacocking...given the environment. I don't want the added attention and I don't want to appear as if I'm trying to outdo everyone. It's a personal choice.

I have a very similar jacket, G. Like what you did with it here.
