Prom - Suitsupply and TM Lewin. Criticisms welcome (don't be too savage this time Claghorn ;) ).
I like this quite a lot. Good eye for proportions. When I was your age and had to (and I stress "had to" since I then preferred to dress in clothes with skateboard brands on them :embar:) dress up in a suit I had no clue what I was doing (+ refused to take advice from people who did) and looked like an ass clown.

I haven't worn this suit for over 6 months, so it's a little dusty. This is take 2 for the Friday Challenge, but I prefer my first entry. It's based on the Great Wave off Kanagawa, probably the most famous Japanese woodblock print. I was planning to take a picture on the beach for this, but unfortunately it's raining today,

[/SPOILER] Is this the rust linen tie making an appearance? I'd been admiring it, and may have even quoted it somewhere within. Very nice, and sharp look overall.
Thanks; and yes, it's the rust linen tie. I just love how it knots, very "creamy" somehow.
First attempt in this thread. Advice on fit and coordination is encouraged.
The tie looks too bold for my liking, a real grenadine would have been better and dissolved some of the sheen.
Suit looks good; shirt: collar too small, points too short; tie: too shiny, knot too thick. Fix these small things and you look twice as good.
Ok guys-- I'll try that starting...tomorrow. But in the meantime, wearing as Ralph Lauren prob wants it, out dere for the world A few drinks, listening to dean and frank; decided to pinstripe up for tonite. Signore Bontoni, Isaia, and Sartorio present for duty.

This one looks much better than the grey one, lapel to tie - ratio wise. Also agree on the tie clip where it can't be seen (and actually serves a function). Combination-wise, I like both fits very much; understated, but very well done.

Nice setting, though you appear to be quite concerned about some airborne or very tall item on the periphery (Godzilla?).

Overall, nice summery look. Minor nit: pants appear a bit short relative to their width. Not sure about the tie, would have to inspect more closely for thumbs up or down. Minor praise: Nice hat. Also, the shoes appear to have been thoughtfully selected for the occasion.

I'm obviously a big fan. (See avatar). -- Happy July 4 to those 'muricans and 'murican sympathizers out there! (That's not my car. Last year, Mrs. GMMcL bought me a spot on a "Dream Car Tour," where we spent the afternoon driving supercars around the wilds of a local state park. This is just before I drove the 451 Italia)
