Two Formosas on this page with lapel button holes in a weird position. Never noticed this before - is this their trade mark? Looks off to me.

That's pretty standard. His button holes are pretty small and usually close to the lapel stitching. Doesn't bother me.

Do you even try? It seems like you just throw on whatever and it looks good.
In other words, I guess it certainly looks like you are just enjoying and not going crazy about little things.

Oh yeah, I was thinking of myself when I wrote that. Someone who goes nuts over stupid little things and is unable to enjoy.

And dude, get yourself a selfie stick or something. We know you dress well but let's see them full shots!

The end of the week, and finally some relief from humidity and rain. As per the suggestion of a fellow poster at AAAC, I am trying this new sports jacket with cream-colored linen trousers, and spectators.

Sports Jacket - Paul Stuart/Phineas Cole
Shirt, trousers, and PS - BB
Tie - PRL
Shoes - Tyrwhitt

Elegant as always. I'm not fond of the pale blue shirt with that jacket, though. I think white would look better, crisper. It's an awesome jacket, but it's fighting with the blue shirt.

Who else is from LA?
+1, though if we're talking Long Beach, rather than LA proper (a touchy subject from growing up in the Hollywood area), I would more readily adopt an LA meet up somewhere better reached by flight lol.

I'm not quite so brave to tempt an LB excursion, save for a day when there is NOOOOOOO traffic.

It was a toss-up between blue and white, and as I had inaugurated the jacket with a white shirt, I thought that I would try blue, but, I agree, white is crisper.

Lol, cheers man! Usually I actually just throw stuff on. Today I was trying to DTO (the top half) of one of Clag's outfits for the FC though.

Ah, but, you see, you have collected the right stuff to throw on - that's the secret.

Indeed, and I know beforehand what kind of combos I usually feel at home in, what colours I like together etc. It gets a whole lot easier then. Then again, sometimes it's fun to try out stuff I wouldn't have thought would go together and see how it lands.

Above outfit is pretty safe though.

Is that a pink scarf or a handbag or what?

A pink umbrella with rabbits on it. I was caught by a surprise rain and a friend lent it to me. Got some funny stares when I was walking home with it.
