What about wishes? Do wishes work?

And fine, I'll tuck. I thought we lived in a world where people didn't need to tuck any more, but I guess I was wrong.

I wasn't going to bother with tiecrafters anyway. Laziness > vanity.

@justinkapur Awsm! ..as usual all the elements r of the best. I don't see a problem with the Cappelli here, but my own preference would be to drop one patterned element- probably the square. Nothing says 'dandy' more than a patterned square with a suit imo.

WIWT

WIW Tuesday

Really nice, except I'm not sure about the shoes with that first suit. Colours not well suited IMHO.

Anyway, yet another man of colour proving me completely wrong about white shirts and dark skin. I concede.

New around here. Regular day in the office wearing an air force blue pickandpick three-piece suit with English detailing, white DeoVeritas shirt, black Dion knit tie, and Gravati plaintoe black slipons:

Could be very nice, but you need a full fit shot and a longer lens, otherwise your photos will tend be be glossed over by many.

By the way @Leaves , I used to think @justinkapur was from Australia, but I believe he actually resides in LA or somewhere like that.

The angle makes me look like I have baby legs, but I assure you, I am a regular sized person.

Is tie tucking a thing?

I think that @sprout2 is suggesting that people who end up with a back blade that's longer than the front of the tie should tuck the long back blade into their shirt or trousers, rather than end up with a "tie pen0r". That strikes me as a sound and sensible suggestion.

What other people seem to be talking about is the practice of some people of tucking the *front* blade of their tie into the waistband of their trousers. That's a rather silly look and shouldn't be done under any circumstances!

Why did you get patch pockets on a pinstripe suit? That's about as incongruent as it gets. I like the colour combination of this outfit though. The grey suit, lighter shirt and burgundy tie look very nice together.

It was OTR and I know everyone has questioned it previously. I will say its unlined and so to me patch pockets are ok. The cloth is lightweight wool and a more relaxed suit. Yes I know the cloth appears to be dressy and formal but its open weave lends itself to be a bit more casual.

Very nice, but feels quite wintery to me. What cloth is the suit? Almost looks like flannel.

Its actually a very light cloth. I think its 100% wool

Also, to my eye, a madder tie with that pattern is too far on the casual end of the spectrum for a pinstripe suit. (I just mentally edit out the patch pockets from that suit when JK posts it :) .) Color combination is nice though.

I loved the colors together but didnt know a madder tie is on the casual side of things. But I guess with a patch pocket unlined suit maybe it was a perfect mistake.

It's winter Down Under mate!

Haha not here in sunny California. Toasty today

Glad you are posting again AAS, but I'm not really feeling this particular fit. Pants seem the wrong colour for the rest of it. Maybe light grey would have worked better.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how the khaki pants would work with the yellow shirt. Next time.

Friday - humid, but not warm. I've reverted to seersucker, a bow tie, some rather silly socks, and the new shoes from Monday.

Suit & shirt - BB
Tie - PRL
PS - Robert Talbott
Shoes - Paul Stuart house brand
