They're good old Vass. and right back at u Stefan, great topside, and those Crispies aren't bad either. I just had a Moonbeam patchy made too. Nice cloth eh... Would u consider matching trews? the Q'n came up in the Unfunded Liabilities thread.

And how's the Vanda silk? I've not tried their squares.
Nice indeed.

Thanks! I love the moonbeam. It's soft, but still feels substantial. I would not consider matching trousers in this fabric at least, as I think it feels too soft. Would be comfortable, but feel like PJs.

I've only tried one try from Vanda, that I think got a bit too thick. Will try another type later. The squares I've got from them have all been good though. I now have 4 different kimono silks, and they are all quite crispy, and folds nicely. Wouldn't hesitate to buy more of them.

I've got the blues because the summer + 2015 is a impossibility in this godforsaken place called a nation and a home. And it does not make things better that I feel the jacket is too short.

Jakcet + trousers - CT
Shirt + tie - Turnbull & Asser
PS - Kent Wang
Socks - Falke
Shoes - Loake

Tie your Tie from Shaya at exquisitetrimmings Kimono silk PS from Vanda Fine Clothing Saint Crispin's shoes Jacket in Harrisons Moonbeam
Leaving aside the slubby nature of the tie, I think it offers insufficient contrast to work with the rest of the pieces you chose.
The Friday Challenge this week is "no blues, no grays" - and I have only myself to blame for the theme, since I (and Winston Churchill) won last week's challenge, and therefore had the right to set the theme for this week's. We'll see if I was able to fulfill the theme in an attractive fashion.
Suit - BB Fitzgerald Shirt - Tyrwhitt Tie - BB Cufflinks - DVVS, NYC PS - BB Shoes - C & J
Is the suit brownish IRL? On both my phone and 'puter it looks very gray.
Someone should set a "slubby tie" Friday Challenge one day.

This, though not an awesome photograph, does a much better job of showing the full context of the fit. I didn't care for the tie in the top shot, but in the f'length it works.
Sticking around a few days more, until my sales threads finish... Tira, would have voted for you, but don't do social media, so not on Facebook. Sorry.
Ironically, now that you're not really posting anymore, you've figured out how to take a good picture! :)
post from FC.
The opposite problem of Stefan88 above. Too much contrast with the tie in a fit which is otherwise low contrast.
My sample sale today, its show time!

If you don't post this in Señor Crust's Friday Challenge, I will.

It is a rather grey-ish brown IRL, with a tan overplaid, so yes, it falls (just barely) in the brown camp. It is, however, much lighter in weight than my dark brown suit in current rotation, which was not an option today, as it is warm and muggy here in NYC (and that suit has the thinnest of blue windowpane overplaids, which would cause consternation among the proletariat).
