Meanwhile, it's physical therapy and pain management, with a walker (a Zimmer frame, for those of you in the UK) to assist in transport. It's rather like rehearsing for becoming an old codger, though, at 61 (as of yesterday), "codger" may be a present-tense noun shog[1].gif.

That sucks its happening on your birthday...if anyone can make a walker/zimmer frame look stylish it would be you! Again wishing you a speedy recovery and happy birthday!

@Andy57 REALLY dig those loafers. The cordovan looks awesome in those pictures. Really deep coloring.

@chocsosa awesome summery look (last one). Bravo to you both :nodding:

Good day sirs,

Firstly, @upr_crust get well soon once more sir

Back to the basics ( excuse poorly tied tie )

Don't know why, but I always find myself running back to this specific suit. Has to be the most worn one in my wardrobe to be honest.

with many thanks,

Hal

@heldentenor haha! I'm sure that your suit will be well worth the wait sir! I actually have a charcoal POW DB undergoing alterations and I can't wait to wear it either for the Winter haha.

Today's adventure in Wall Scouting, film posters with two quotes from reviews, "A transcendentally twisted tale from Hell in beautiful chaos" from Flaunt and "A throbbing slab of fizzled-out drone punk" from the Brooklyn Vegan.

Brooks Brothers herringbone tweed jacket, tie, and belt, L L Bean University stripe OCBD shirt, Thomas Pink pocket square, Polo Ralph Lauren grey flannel trousers, and Allen-Edmonds for Brooks Brothers black Strands.

Piece of a person picture for those who like that sort of thing.

Thanks! They are color No. 8, but they are the darkest example of that color I've seen. They could easily pass for black in poor light. Which is not a bad thing, it's just a thing.

Haven't done this in a while and my style has somewhat changed since I used to be more active on here. I only wear ties a few times a year now so this is a pretty good representation of my current style. My uniform basically consists of a button down shirt (today is LL Bean, but otherwise it's Brooks Brothers) and a pair of LL Bean dress khakis. Also today I'm wearing my beeswax leather Clark's Desert Boots.

heldentenor, we're just heightening your anticipation a bit. Think of your future joy. smile.gif

I realize that I forgot to label my post appropriately as a POAP (Part of a person) post. Next time...

@Hal Freeman I would prefer an ever so slightly wider spread shirt collar, so that the points could sit under the lapel of your jacket, but that's a tremendously minor issue. This is an excellent look :slayer:
