HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014) - Page 2829

Yeah, I know. No regrets either.

My wardrobe is spread across two cities so I can never quite work out how many suits and jackets I have, but I think it's about twenty of each. That's too many in my opinion.

Anyone who wants to help out can look down at my sig. There's a couple of suits for sale there. One is ridiculously cheap, and the other (the Caruso) is very fine indeed. (But it's slightly too tight around the chest for me, hence it's for sale.)

Come on, folks. Someone has to be interested. I'll consider offers.

I actually gained 2 kilos over last three months. But I'd say it's not about the weight but more about perimiters ;)

Hi everyone,

Hope all of you are keeping well. Permit me to hijack the ongoing discussion for few minutes. I have been away for some time now just to focus a little more on my Masters Degree (LLM in Financial Services) which was really daunting and challenging coupled with work and family life. As a result, I have not been following some of your posts and I do apologise for missing out on your beautiful outfits. That in mind, I have returned fully to join the band wagon of enthusiasts here. I would also like to use this opportunity to share my elation with you guys as I have finally validated my Masters Degree with 'DISTINCTIONS' making me a specialist in Financial Law Services.

I was elected one of the best performance student in the LLM examination that took place in the month of August 2016 (shared prize). I was also the overall best student for making impregnable contribution to the LLM programme and consequently was awarded the 'MORAYO ATOKI' prize. The results were released yesterday and my joy knows no bounds. I dedicate this degree to my wife for standing by me while I studied, my children for understanding when daddy returned home late as I needed to keep up with school work and my law firm for giving me adequate support when I needed it the most. The challenge is finally over for now but I may be considering a Phd in nearer future but don't see the practical relevance to the legal sector at the moment unless I'm planning to become an academia which is not a viable option for me at the moment.

I 'm suit hunting at the moment for the graduation ceremony which would be coming up in March 2017. I want to go bespoke having preference for a double breasted suit. My wife already picked one up yesterday from Brook Brothers which is here enclosed. I am still not convinced if I would be wearing that on the d' day. I hope this information more than justifies my long absence from this forum. Find enclosed a snapshot of my examination results and also the suit.

Thanks for taking your time to read.

Regards

This week, the Friday Challenge is "stars and stripes". I believe that I've achieved both - two stripes (suit and shirt), and three stars (braces, cufflinks, and tie). We shall see how well the effort is received.

Suit - BB
Shirt - Thomas Pink
Tie - Seigo
Cufflinks - BB
Braces - New & Lingwood
PS - Robert Talbott
Shoes - C & J

I guess congratulations are in order! I certainly can understand the satisfaction you are experiencing! I'm 1 ½ years away from completing my LLM too, and I certainly would be ecstatic if I'd graduated with distinctions and a prize to show appreciation toward my contribution to the program!

Can't wait to see your fits in the upcoming weeks!

Great stuff, @wigglr - but is that a matka tie in an otherwise F/W fit?
