Maybe it's just that quarters are closed, and I'm used to seeing something different. Again, very nice pattern. What is the weight and feel of fabric?

It's probably around 13oz, kinda midrange. It's a hard-finished tweed with a dry hand, I guess. At the moment, it's quite stiff although I expect it will soften and break in over time. Last night it had a few wrinkles from being packed in a box. Hanging overnight, though, all the wrinkles disappeared and it looked like it had just been pressed.

Jacket and tie are from Brooks Brothers. Pants are Haggar, the shirt is Charles Tyrwhitt, the pocket square from JAB, and the shoes are Rockports. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Need better lighting/angle to properly assess. From what we can see there seems to be a few details in which you could improve this outfit.

- Jacket looks way too long, and slightly too wide. If you take a picture from the front, where the camera is at least 2-3 m away, I could probably tell you almost down to the cm how much too long/wide it is. Maybe not worth the money to try and fix. This may mostly be because of the bad angle, but as it looks in this picture, your upper body dwarves your legs.

- Trousers look a bit too long. This is an easy fix. Just take them to a tailor and have them hemmed.

- Tie and pocket square seem to be a bit matchy matchy. Easiest fix of them all.

- What colour is that shirt btw? If it's slightly lilac, as it looks on my screen, it's gonna be hard matching it with ties in that colour group.

@Blekit, that's a smooth look. My favorite of yours so far. Have you lost a few pounds? I'm envious.

Yes, I agree.  The longer cut suits you very well.

Today's attire reflects the fact that it is Friday, and that it is supposed to be a summer-like day today - sunny, warm, but with low humidity, the last summery day for this season, I expect, hence the yellow bow tie.

Blazer, trousers, shirt, shoes - BB
Bow tie - No name brand, from Daffy's, NYC
PS - Alain Figaret

Yeah I think that the angle of the photo distorts how long the jacket is. I'll take another shot and we can reassess to see if it is worth altering.

The trousers definitely need a fix. I think I'm the only guy who is almost 40 and losing body fat. My shape has changed over the past year or so and I am adapting to these conditions.

What would you suggest for a pocket square color combo? I'm guessing different colours between the two to give contrast?

The shirt is lilac.

Thanks for the advice. I'm very new at all of this however I do want to learn. Cheers!
