The tie is actually somewhat textured, almost like a grenadine grossa. You're right about the shirt. I don't have a white linen square with coloured border but I should, and yes, it would look good here. Although I do like the splash of colour provided by this mauve square too.

Cheers. Just found this bond picture with brown knit tie. I think can work with well in this setting. Furthermore I love your fits and great photo shoots.

Hard to tell if it's just the pattern or if the colour is the same, but is http://www.samhober.com/macclesfield-print-silk-ties/light-lavender-and-powder-blue-on-dark-charcoal-gray-macclesfield-printed-silk-tie-108.html the same fabric @Galix was asking about? Different maker I know...

Similar but not quite the same. The Cappelli has three shapes in the pattern, the Hober two. One of the shapes is about the same, but the others are different. That's a nice Hober, though.

I have a wool-linen suit from Suitsupply (single breasted notch lapels) with a very similar colour and pattern to that. It's currently my favourite summer suit.

Good day sirs.

Some really good stuff here lately. The daily grind and school has had me up to me neck. Little snap of today though, the weather is finally getting cooler. Shoes are black derby boots. **and yes the suit needs a press..I really should be in the habit of pressing it before photos. Next time I will make sure of it. (Question is, how do you gents keep your coats wrinkle free in cars while driving? I have a long commute and I take my jacket off while driving and lay it at the backseat but it still always comes out with wrinkles when I get to work/school.)

With many thanks,

Hal

No time for a full photographic breakdown, but this came out quite nicely by my (admittedly low) standards, so figured it's worth a post.

Big fan Sprezza.

As a relatively young guy me self ( I just turned 19 , graduating from college early) and someone who is also vertically challenged ( 5'8 ), you've been such a great inspiration to me and to my style. I just wanted to say thank you and keep up the amazing content!

With many thanks,

Hal

@Sprezza, you remind me of myself several decades ago. I enjoy your spirit and self confidence. Keep'em coming

If your jacket is of anything resembling reasonable quality, I can't envision a scenario where a laid flat jacket would produce wrinkles of any sort, much less the type that can't be shaken out. Do you have many thin GS in our back seat that might be falling on top of or pressing against the coat? That's the only thing I can think of...

Fwiw, I do the same with my jacket and never have any appreciable issues.
