The Don's t-shirt is a bit too see-through for my liking, but I love that high waistband on the trews.

This is the first and last tie I will buy from SuitSupply. It was ridiculously thick and impossible to get a decent knot. Instead of binning it, I decided to remove the interlining. The end result is much better, but it's still pretty crappy. Has anyone else ever done this?

New suit..A couple weeks ago or so, @Anden posted a brown suit from Caruso Parma that really inspired me..I had been looking for a brown biz suit for a while for work but it proved elusive...then I saw one at an affordable price from Caruso Parma..however there was not that much on here about the label.. I do have another Caruso made suit that fits so well but I was still unsure.. so I sat on it for almost a year.. after seeing Andens current posts of Parma suits I said what the heck and went for it..Im glad I did..the feel is awesome..it fits well (did have to do some work) but it feels awesome now.. and its still pretty conservative for my work environment..its a 3R2 with built up chest and shoulder line and open quarters..one of my current staples now...

Looks great! Glad to be an inspiration.

To my knowledge the Sartoria Parma line has more hand made details compared to the regular Caruso line. The brown suit I have states - handmade in Italy. If that is true or not... My tailor has always been amazed by the quality of the work on the SP items I have....

Today, the weather in NYC has cooled off and dried out considerably, so I'm back to suits. Today's shirt is a new acquisition, my first from Kamakura, and was part of a group of shirts marketed as selected by Kamau Hosten, a "new York fashionista", and a personal acquaintance of mine. I've been wanting to try Kamakura for a while, and Kamau's connection to the shop sealed the deal. I will say that the fabric is quite soft, as is the construction (very little if any stiffening in the collar and cuffs), and when they say "slim fit", they mean it. We shall see how the shirt launders, but it is so far, quite nice.

Suit - Paul Stuart/Phineas Cole
Shirt - Kamakura
Tie - Damiano Presta, Rome
Braces - Paul Stuart
PS - BB
Shoes - Bergdorf Goodman house brand

Finally, if new acquisitions of clothes on my part are seen to slow down, it is only for the acquisition of furnishings for the new apartment. An example of such is shown below:

I reallly like this! But I think the tie and shirt are quite busy together.

Thanks! You're probably right. I initially thought about a pale blue shirt, but ended up with pinstripes for some reason.

Fall is nearly here, and I can bear to wear clothing again.
