Wearing my new mustard matka tie from @gshen and Vanda Fine Clothing today.

@SprezzaTrash, that outfit amply demonstrates your ability to match seemingly incongruent patterns with ease and flair.
@Andy57, loving your combo. Perfect colour, pattern and texture matching. CM's suggestion of a blue shirt doesn't really enhance the result any further in my eyes (although a very pale blue shirt might have marginally improved what is already a stellar result).
@A.J.V, I particularly like your first fit out of the three. What is that suit? It rocks.
@Andy57, weird setup, but it works for me. Perhaps a blue shirt would have made the tie appear less jarring, but overall I'm liking it.
I don't understand your choice of words. What is weird about this?
I don't know, what do you think?
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I think if I had wanted to wear a blue shirt with the rest of my clothes today, I would have selected one. I appreciate that your taste and mine are different, but I don't think the difference needed to be described as weird.
I'm pretty sure you meant your original comment to be constructive, or at least not simply a put-down. But calling it weird simply tells me more about you than about why you think a blue shirt would be better. I would actually like to know why you think that, though. I know that you can articulate your reasoning.
I would not think to wear a blue shirt with these trousers (isn't there some sort of rhyme about blue and green?), and I'm not sure that I've ever worn a blue shirt with this jacket, either. To my eye, your edit of my picture to make the shirt blue looks less harmonious than the original with the white shirt. It's possible that a very pale blue shirt would work. I have such a shirt and might try that sometime, but, again, I don't think it would be an improvement, necessarily. Just a different look.
