Monkeying around in Malibu.......

Brooks Brothers silk tweed glen plaid 3/2 undarted sack jacket and ecru PPBD shirt, generic raw silk tie, generic pocket square, Trafalgar alligator belt, Orvis trousers, and Allen-Edmonds tan suede Strandmoks.

Recall past comments about glen plaid jackets, raw silk ties, and sack jackets, but have forgotten if the comments were pro or con.  As we all are pros here, assume the comments were all pro.  (Don't think any of us are cons.)

Careful observers might notice that the 3/2 undarted sack jacket has followed the path of most such jackets, and become a nearly shapeless mass, which always reminds me of the old "Mad" magazine joke, "Elsa Maxwell was born in Shapeless, Mass."

The ever-popular "Piece Of A Person" picture, with extra added attractions of pizza, prosecco, and a pocket watch, having realized almost the only way to get my watch, a Hamilton 992B Railway Special, into a picture was to get a lapel watch chain, so I did.

For those who were wondering, we had panacotta for dessert and that's not Malibu Barbie in the background.

I like it too.  Any details?

Thank you! The jacket is Formosa via NMWA. The fabric is Drapers. The shirt is Borrelli. The pents are Rota, also from NMWA. The shoes are Carmina--a GMTO through Gentlemens Footwear.

Oh! Régine Crespin!!!
