HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014) - Page 2742

Good day gentlemen,

Trying to use the timer function on my phone for these photos, and is actually better than my shoddy webcam (quality wise). Sorry for the horrible angles though. Breast pocket is oddly high in this suit. Tried something bright because Summer is still the season here. The suit is actually a Royal Blue and has a micro-check pattern. Not the best of fits I must admit, but I honestly like the colour combo of this outfit. This suit also deserves a good press.. Accessories are gold and the shoes are black derby boots. I hope you lot like it.

P.S. really want to try joining in that Brown in Town challenge hey.

@darcys asked, "I really like this look. You have a great sense of style. Do you normally wear dress watches by chance? If so which ones?"

I have only two "good" watches, a Le Must de Cartier tank (quartz movement) from the 1980's, and a gold Tiffany watch, an award for 25 years of service to my late husband. I am wearing the Cartier today, as shown below.

I like the idea of this, but I'm not sure about the lower half. It might have been better served with darker trews and shoes. Thoughts?

Gentlemen - I've been away on business, and then a skiing holiday. Feeling relaxed, fit and re-invigorated...clearly it's time to post another fit.

Shoes possibly yes. I don't like what you've done with my trousers though.

Not enough coffee for me yet. Did CM photoshop your post? And here I thought I spent too much time on SF...

Yeah, I 'shopped it.

By the by, the sport coat is the main reason I was thinking northern lights. I think you have to have something interesting up top to pull off dark trousers IOT avoid drawing the eyes downward.

It's kind of alarming to think that random people on the internet are photoshopping one's photos.

Next he'll paste you into a group shot with the Hemsworth Clan and Margot Robbie. :D

Trust me, there are random people doing much more alarming things with one's photos on the Internet than Photoshopping them - the human imagination has no boundaries . . . shog[1].gif

See? There are much creepier people on the internet than me. Well, maybe not much creepier, but at least slightly.

Another sunny day in the UK means another excuse for linen. Darker blue jacket today, paired with a light blue shirt. Red stripe contrasting tie, kept it simple with white linen PS again. Shirt is a Ted Baker with an interesting weave pattern (sorry for the overexposed shots making it look white). First outing for my two tone Cheaney brogues. Matchy matchy red/blue socks.
