I'd add a tie, but it's too hot. :)

I can't help but think you'd obtain a more favorable bid if the vendors thought your resources were more limited than they actually are.

One must balance one's appearance between looking as if one can afford the necessary services, but not that one can easily afford the necessary services. As it is, my contractor has achieved a good balance between cost and quality. We shall see if the decorator will also work the same way.

The nation that gave the world the Nehru jacket may also be the nation that gave the world the sockless look.......

The color on those suede monks are perfect with the blue of the suit!

Thanks, gentlemen.  First time that I have put these particular items together so nice to have positive feedback.

Summer sunshine in the UK means the linen blazer is back on the agenda. Cream blazer navy trousers. Again, sorry about the crappy selfies. Lighting very bad in the last pic, trousers defo navy (not black!) and the socks aren't luminous (more closely match the blue on the PS)!

William Hunt blazer

PRL shirt

M&S tie

eBay special PS

Gap cords

Loake brogues

Continuing my three days of Double Breasted!

My inspiration was the color palette of "english" suiting.  Brown/olive suit and red tie.  Not exactly tweed and critter ties, but its my own city spin on it!

Shirt and suit are custom! The pants have side adjusters and are high rise.

Suit: Light brown Marzotto cotton. Shirt: Blue natte Albini cotton. Tie: Linen. All MTM from Herrainpukimo. Pochette: Rubinacci (Samurai, I think).

I know that I tied my tie a bit long.
