Still nervous about posting.. Sportcoat today. It's quite an odd colour. It is a grey POW check with a green, red, & blue overcheck. I'm not sure if you can see it clearly, but I tired my best to show the texture on the photos below. Trousers have a single pleat and plain bottoms. Weather was oddly weird today and there was a sandstorm on the way home, but nothing serious though. Hope you like it. Shoes are black derby boots and accessories are gold.

Don't be nervous.  It's better to post and learn than not.  I think the shirt collar is too big for you.  I'm not a fan of the tie pin.  I'd recommend not making the tie bow that much if you do wear one.  The tie and jacket both look dated and not in a good way.  The stripes on the tie don't go well with the stripes of the shirt.  The fit of the jacket is good, but I wish the lapels weren't as wide.

Jacket is a vintage 1970s-80s one from Nordstrom house label and the tie is from the 1930's!  I admit that the contrast between jacket and pants could have been stronger, with some cream pants or something.  And yes, my collar is small; its from H&M!

The tie bar really helps with the small collar.  Good addition.

That is a great suit, DC.  Looks wonderful on you.  I know you have square shoulders, but there is a really nice roundness to the shoulders that some of your other pieces lack.  I know this has been said before, but I'm still disappointed in your tie knots.  Would you humor me and try a double four in hand just once?  :inlove:

Skin colored socks is a no go.  I think a navy jacket would have looked better with the olive pants and tie.  I like the texture of the jacket.

I don't mind all the patterns so much, but I think the shoulders on this jacket are too wide/padded for you.  The fit otherwise is fine, but bad shoulders on a jacket should be a deal breaker.

I agree with you on the socks. Fortunately, these are definitely much darker beige in reality. I could take another picture but that would be silly.

The color on those suede monks are perfect with the blue of the suit!

A cool and windy day at the dog park.

Tweed cap:  Kangol

Knit polo: B2

Irish Shetland Sweater: Christopher Hayes

Coat:  Woolrich/Harris Tweed

Jeans:  Levis 501

Dirty Bucks:  AE

Dog Breed:  Treat Hound

One of the nice things about San Francisco is that you can wear tweed pretty much year around.

^Great suit.  I would have prefered a non-navy tie.

I have a feeling like he's going for a relatively monochromatic look (I guess, bichromatic to be exact), and I think he nailed it.
