Good etiquette to use that function when you quote someone else. That way everyone doesn't have to massive repeated posts.

Cheers!

Good day sir,

Thank you for the information! First post! Apologies are needed however.. I do not have a good camera as I am still a student, but I do however have my laptop's webcam. I try my best to take photos during the day so I can get the best natural lighting my room can give as much as possible. Well here goes!

Will appreciate any feedback!

**The suit is actually a very faint brown and grey pinstripe, the shirt is a very pale grey double cuff shirt that I had made for me, and the shoes are brown cap-toe boots that match the watch strap. (Can't bring shoes in my room)

With many thanks,

Hal

Very nice debut. The jacket looks a bit tight at the buttoning point in your first pic.

Thank you sir,

I am glad you like it, I was afraid that it wouldn't be satisfactory. I will take note of that hey, but unfortunately since I had thrifted the suit there wasn't anymore material left to let out.

Thanks for posting and spoilering.  Good debut.  I agree that the jacket looks a bit tight at the waist.  I think the vest would look better with a slightly higher buttoning point i.e. an extra button.  The colors look fine.  I'd recommend longer collar points so the shirt collar sits better under the jacket and vest.  Keep posting.

@icebergwtq, nice fit on those trousers.

@Hal Freeman, there is potential here. I won't rehash what others have said because their advice is solid. I will say that the watch looks gigantaur on your wrist. Maybe try a smaller one next time.

Pleasant day to you sir,

First off. Big fan. Thank you for the kind words. Good advice too, I had never thought of having the collar points being made longer was a thing. Will keep posting! This thread brings me much joy, been following it for some time now.

Greetings!

Yes! Good advice if I may say. Thank you. I will agree the watch head is quite big as well. I will try a smaller one next time.

Thanks,

Hal

Not very satisfied with today's outfit...dozingoff.gif Maybe I should wear a white shirt instead of horizontal stripes.

A difficult one today; first to evening mess in church, then to celebrate birthday at a restaurant.

But God doesn't mind, the birthdayparty does.

What is that jacket? Interesting shoulder. Quite distinctive.

@Roy Al - great weekend look. I'm just sitting here thinking should I wear bordeaux shoes with red linen trousers and you post this smile.gif

Burgundy shoes would be the natural choice for me, but then it was raining and I needed dainite soles...

About the collar points on the shirt...I was recommending that you buy/thrift shirts with longer collar points.  I'd recommend at least three inches.  Many shirt companies sell shirts with smaller collar points, but I don't think they work well with ties and sport coats.
