I should get a knit tie in navy. Don't have one somehow.

With sufficient Macallans, many things are possible.  But if so, I'm sure it was a very tasteful lampshade.

Yeah but it looks like a giant prawn trying to crawl out of your pocket.

Nicely done! The suit AND the Macallan! I got a bottle of Macallan 18 for my 30th birthday several years ago. Beautiful whisky. The 12 year old i'm not as fond of anymore. I used to enjoy it a lot in the late '90s/early 2000s, but it's not what it used to be. The 18 (at least the one I got several years ago) and several 15 and 17 year old independent bottlings I have are superb!

That's pretty much the reason I gave up on the 12 myself. Drinking the 18 means I have to save it for special occasions, but I figured my 70th qualified.

The suit is an odd duck. I have two sport coats from the same cutter - all acquired second hand. The shop only existed for a couple of years, 1992-1994, but its secretary and later director was Brian Lishak, of Huntsman and Richard Anderson fame. And all three pieces bear a striking resemblance to Anderson's work. Make of it what you will, but they are all beautiful and I am very happy with them.
