Actually list price A$4K (=US$3K), now reduced by 25%. And yes, it's exquisite. Canali "Exclusive" line - best quality Loro Piana fabrics, more handwork. Certainly worth the discounted price, but a bit beyond my reach just now.

Shoes too light (colored) for the tie. With dark brown suede tassels, the look would have been much more balanced imo. I won't speak of the socks.

I like that fabric a lot  @Sander, and your style is usually impeccable,  so  it pains me to say that imo you should go with side adjusters on your  next pin or chalk stripe commission.  The brown belt looks like the odd man out there.

@An Acute Style I like everything above the ankle about as much as I loathe what's on it, and below it..

Thanks; and yes, this is my only bespoke suit with belt loops, I wanted to try one last time. All my other pants have brace buttons. But here I felt the textures and colors of tie and belt harmonized.

Nice blue color suit, pleats of pant are different, I mean pleats opening towards zippers.

I believe those are referred to as forward pleats, i.e. the crease of the pleat points forward.

Hope I got that right...

Cheers,

Coordinating one's attire to one's sofa occurs only once in a lifetime (or at least once in the life of the sofa).

For the record, the current sofa count is one, though once my husband and I move to our new apartment, the sofa count will rise to two (one sectional, one sleep sofa, and not the current sofa).

More on that as news occurs . . .

I grabbed a Canali Exclusive at a sale at Barneys New York a few years ago. Pricey but well worth it. Cloth and construction are amazing.

Tuesday.  Neutral. White shoes and wool tie.  I wish I had worn a different watch.  The blue strap feels out of place to me.

^ A "good" AAS fit, as opposed to a "wear garlic wreath around neck and be afraid, be very afraid" AAS fit.

Well done.
