Thanks A, it was very kind and surprise gift from a friend of ours on these boards. He bought it from Exquisite Trimmings Shaya @davesmith of course needs no introduction smile.gif

Quote: Nice look. Except for the cigarette. Yellow-stained teeth, bad breath and shortened life expectancy do nothing for me, style wise.

@loarbmhs picture spoilers and the multi-quote feature - learn them, love them.

Time for the periodic public service message showing how to spoiler photographs when quoting using the SF editor.  :)

Cheers,

The forgetting-to-button-the-second-button-on-each-of-your-sleeves-as-intended-sprezz look is bullshit. Stop it.

Lobsters Part Deux:

The Lobster Festival (this weekend in San Pedro) probably isn't very festive for the lobsters as their experiences at the Lobster Festival tend to be rather similar to those of the young oysters who went walking with the Walrus and the Carpenter.

Napps of Waterbury ivork silk Made In The USA 3/2 undarted sack jacket with patch pockets and a hook vent, Brooks Brothers PPBD shirt, Berkley Cravats for Eljo (Richmond) heraldic tie, Robert Talbott pocket square, J Crew Madras trousers, and Florsheim ivory suede "No String Wings" (called that because they have holes for shoelaces but don't come with shoelaces so I added shoelaces to avoid that "just released from jail" look).

The ever popular "piece of a person" picture.......

.....@DiplomaticTies, no I didn't listen to any sort of Bossa Nova rhythms when I rode downtown on the Metro Expo Line train.  Just the usual number of people ignoring the signs not to play their Boom Boxes on the train and the usual hordes of people shouting into their cell phones in all sorts of foreign languages and wondering why they can't hear anything and the person they are calling can't hear them since they don't realize in America cell phones speak English.

I like the overall look. The buttoning point on the jacket might indeed be a bit high, but, as you say, oh well. There are worse things, right. The tie, on the other hand, is all kinds of awesome. Except the stripes go the wrong way :)

You are always so erect in photos; congrats on your posture, but I would love to see a relaxed lean-back from time to time.

You know what is bullshit? Fretting about things like this. Open your sleeve buttons, don't, I don't care. It doesn't make a good outfit bad nor a bad outfit good, so I don't care. Meta-sprezz ftw.
