And this is my look for hanging out in sunny San Francisco.

Much better.

This seems to confirm my long-held suspicion that justinkapur’s usual photographs often suffer from a bit of lens distortion.

Cheers,

I can't speak to camera work, but the normal set up (at least compared with the real life pic) seems to make Justin look a bit plumper, for lack of a better word, than he actually is.

In any event, great work on the jacket, and great work overall, though I'd love a smaller watch instead of the Pan.

Wish it were possible for people to do more in the wild pics and less staged Auguste Rodin poses. Clothing is obviously meant to move with your body, and seeing the context of where/why something was worn is important, along with how things really look in real life.

I never get to post here given that I don't wear tailored clothes too often but I wanted to show off this linen jacket I just got made at Mr. Ned's. It's my second purchase/third received order from him (first was a navy blazer in typical merino twill wool and the other second/third was a rush order tuxedo I interjected into the making of this jacket). I only have my iphone camera so unfortunately the distance shots are not too good for showing off the texture this jacket has but I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.

(The back is very nice, I can only capture that so well when I have an arm raised holding a phone camera, but when my arms are at the sides the back is shaped but draped with only linen wrinkles and hints of back muscle. Even so, you can see that here when you recognize there is pulling from arm and adjust for it.)

Higher angle front shot

Shirt is by Cego, bracelets are to start a flamewar :)

Pocket silk is Kent Wang, thickened up by wrapping it around a linen square (silk alone didnt fill out the pocket)

Sandy mother of pearl buttons. Midnight navy fresco trousers from Dapper Classics.

Bonus pic with Hawaiian shirt by Cego. Going to wear this to a Tiki night I'm throwing at my company.

I stole the entire outfit from a David Gandy photoshoot :bored: http://i.imgur.com/Fs7DWc6.jpg

Wow, you love that boating jacket. Was this for a special occasion? I still somewhat regret letting the pink linen Gatsby suit go by. Pretty sure I would have used it as separates only, though. Did manage to grab some PRL pink linen pants for next Caribbean trip. (recurring compliment: awesome watch collection!)  Cheers!

The special occasion for Andy is life. He'll wear that whether he's going out to dinner or running to the mini mart to pick up a sixer. Awesome.

Or, you can do what I do.  Ask someone to take your picture and show them how to do it.  I have a very simple camera, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP8. It's smaller than most cell phones and even people who don't speak any language I do can take pictures with it.

(Took this picture with my iPhone.)
