HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014) - Page 2628

Today's look, dunno why my but my camera wasn't cooperating for the first pic:

Jacket: RLPL 100% cashmere

Shirt: Hickey Freeman

Tie: John Comfort

Pants: J Crew

Shoes: Edward Green

Went with a more traditional look today, I know red ties are often considered too strong but this is a darker, more reserved shade of red in person. As a very recent college grad, I'm hoping soon I'll have the means to up my pants game. For now, my good ol J Crews will have to do.

Also not bad @madeinbogota

But I don't like the pant here. They are too casual for the formal upper; the shirt and the jacket.

Still I think grey trousers would be the natural choice here. And with a crease.

Fully agreed Roy - a cashmere top half surely deserves at least worsted bottoms?

And get a dimple in that tie!

@Roy Al Duly noted, thanks! I will be ordering from Luxire soon & grey is definitely at the top of my list,

Yeah, pants are not worthy of your excellent taste in jackets. Never had a shirt from HF although I have several suits and sport coats. What do you think if it?

Appreciate the feedback! I'm a fan of the shirt, the cut/fabric are nice & MOP buttons are a nice touch. Feel like HF is definitely under-appreciated as a whole, I think a lot of their fully-canvassed garments are well-made with great fabrics.

Vurrynice tie. Where from?

I don't say this to necessarily disagree, but isn't cashmere (while obviously more expensive) considered a more casual fabric?

Not to the point of chinos, but I wouldn't have thought worsted trews to be its natural partner...flannel and/or a nappier sort of fabric perhaps?

I have three of their suits all with very nice Loro Piana fabrics. HF seems to get little love here on SF for some reason. Pretty good CBD.

Thanks mate! It's from Massimo Dutti. Fortunately it's not on the slim side and has a lot of texture.

That suit is too tight in every way.

I'm not saying it's too snug, but I will say it doesn't look particularly comfortable.

A nice way of saying it looks too snug lol.
