Do you know how many trips to the emergency room for opthamological problems that combo has engendered? Two items in patchwork madras give Op Art a run for its money for giving people eyesight issues. biggrin.gif

However, if anyone in this life could get away with it, it's you.

Maker is Salvatore Piccolo and it's raw silk. I think I picked this up on sale from Carson St. Clothiers (online) and was disappointed to discover, upon delivery, that it was only 7cm. I probably missed it in the description. But I like it enough to wear it every so often and typically splay the back blade out to give it more width. nod[1].gif And thanks!

Interesting...

"Coxsackie declared of jcmeyer's photo, "If this is meant to set a new standard in art, it will start a revolt. Someone likened it to a praying mantis. I can think of no better description. I couldn't sleep after seeing it the first time." He went on to say, "Grotesquerie has been awarded the prize" and "it is a Pearl Harbor attack on art. Not a child or an expectant mother should be allowed in WAYWRN at present."

@jcmeyer, clearly you look nothing like the Joshua Smith of that portrait. But the pose in your photo reminded me strongly of it.

Like it or not, that painting is unforgettable.
