They don't take sauce from anyone, that's for sure. :) A little wider (and the gorge higher) than my current preference .

Also, your post reminds me that I need to have a better awareness of ties that don't work well with a four in the hand. Have you found the double fih to be a suitable option in such instances?

In my experience double four in hand (it's other name is Prince Albert knot, right) is almost the same as single one. I use it only occasionally if the tie is too long for regular knot. I'd say that with most of the ties you should be able to get a satisfactory knot using four in hand, but in cases it is not possible I'd try half windsor instead.

Great pants (of the rack or some kind MTM?) and the entire look as well. Summer smart casual embodied :slayer:

Jacket is wrinkly and needs a cleaning unfortunately

Really nice outfit, I especially love the shoes. And the tie seems to be so lightweight you can almost see right through it :)

I just got today's suit back from the tailor, where I had it trimmed down a bit, and as next week promises to be bad weather for suit-wearing (too hot and humid, from all predictions), I thought that I should give today's suit a test drive before it gets too warm.

Suit - Paul Stuart/Phineas Cole
Shirt & tie - BB
Braces - Lewin
Cufflinks - Niletti Creations
Shoes - Florsheim Royal Imperial (Magnanni)

@bienluienapris, a darker tie and a white PS and that fit would have really done it for me. As it is, it just misses the mark IMO. FWIW, your misses still look better than most of this forum.

The PS is light green.

Love the green. A color I don't get to wear very often. Vintage jacket? The gorge makes it look slightly dated.

Gah! Your wife definitely has a Botticelli Birth of Venus thing going on. Striking.
