If this is the case then I didn't get that vibe from it at all. I just think it looks good in its own right.

Wednesday.  "What are you going to wear?  Sack Jacket."  ~to the melody of the Hot Pocket commercial.  I think darker shoes/belt may have been better.

Do you have black tassels and a black knit tie? Could have kicked ass.

As always, this is all beautiful. Crisp and clean.  Is the tie burgundy and green or burgundy and navy?  Either way the teal in the square is bothering me.   I think a navy with light blue square would be better or maybe a hunter green.

Burgundy and green. There is no teal in the square, I would describe it as neutral mid-light green (laugh.gif); here's a better picture:

My major problem with this is the fit of the jacket, which is tight in the mid section. And even the most unstructured of jackets shouldn't have those wavy shoulder lines. I can't tell if the sleevehead is supposed to set in and flat or slightly roped. Just looks off to me.

Couldn't have said it better. In fact, if I'd had tried, it would have sounded a lot less, ehm, diplomatic.
