Good for you on the weight loss. Nothing like needing all new clothes to stimulate an interest in dressing better! I also think it takes some courage to post that "before" picture. You are a changed man.

The jet lag will kick in with a vengeance this afternoon. Was up far too late after getting home last night dealing with a crisis involving my oldest girl who is beginning a long swing through Europe--the first day of which went badly. All resolved, thanks to my family in the UK who rallied through the night to help her and her companion.
It's also my wife's birthday today, so I have to stave off the urge to collapse as I'm taking her to dinner tonight. Tuxedo pics to follow!
Glad the weather is abating somewhat. Tuesday was just ridiculous!
@TheoProf, congratulations on your personal transformation.
Not that there's anything wrong with being chubby, as long as that's your choice and you carry your body shape with pride.
It's more to do with the process of undertaking something extremely difficult which requires a great deal of willpower, and carrying it through. Like learning a new language or musical instrument as an adult, or drastically changing one's career, or reforming one's behavioural weaknesses.
As R L Stevenson pointed out - it's the journey that's interesting.
