They do a really high, square shoulder and razor-sharp lapel edge at Belvest-  'modern' looking.  Is HC retailing them?

No, this was one of his (Jason's) jackets he put up for sale and I bought it off him as we're the same size (and of the same good taste) it appears. And yes, the shoulders are a bit different to my other jackets, I wouldn't say it's a high so much as an extended shoulder treatment with a bit of padding, but softer than an English cut - if that makes sense?

The  Belvest jacket I have is similar, maybe identical cut-wise.  They're well (machine) made.   I get a slight bulge at my sides under the arms because my shoulders are a little too slopy for the cut.

edit:    @1st Step  and @An Acute Style

What the ?  I've got 8 shots in a row of Acute wearing  a neat tie, chambray shirt, a DB SC and fun socks  -   none of which should ever be seen with any of the others in the same outfit.

@blekit I like this outfit - the suit is a subtle canvas for the tie to act as a nice point of interest. Can't go wrong with the tv fold square or the black, cap toe oxfords either, Good job.

@blekit I'm inclined to agree with Gerry's comments above and I don't mean in any way to offend, but I'm afraid the colours and the windowpane just don't work for your complexion. The white shirt would be better replaced by a not too pale blue, it will make your face look less pale. And the tie would be better if for example a warmer, reddish brown instead of the stark burgundy. In addition to that, I think a strong pattern like this bold windowpane is too distracting for someone with a low contrast complexion like you.
