Brooks Brothers Brookstweed jacket and tie, Izod OCBD shirt, Robert Talbott pocket square, Viyella sweater vest, Hebden Cord cavalry twill trousers, an Allen-Edmonds shoes.

Close Up (with cookie) around four blocks east of The Cannibal.

Extra Added Attraction: a shop window (on Camden between Wilshire and Brighton) that I walked past on my way to the barber shop on Saturday.

I feel that there is not enough information about the cookies in your posts. Looks like oatmeal to me. With or without raisins?

Can't see but Doak Dovers down below

Flawless use of monochrome. Very nicely done. Often seems like a simple thing to do but turns out contrived or boring. Is the shirt a royal oxford?

Textures that breathe. The fabric in the jacket is an open weave wool/cotton/linen blend, the tie is a wool hopsack and the ps is a linen/cashmere blend.

Caruso

RL

Vanda

Cucinelli

Berg & Berg

Allen Edmonds

You're very kind DT. I wouldn't call it a royal oxford, I'll think on.... It is currently being laundered, the staff like to keep on top of these matters mwink[1].gif

Is the staff aware that is what they are doing? :)

Oh of course. The Bath House, quite out of eyesight, is a riot of soap, suds and bashing against the rocks!

...and while I'm feverishly posting away, thank you, everyone, for another 25-thumb fit yesterday.

Whether or not it's true, I does make me think I'm doing something right or on the path to rightness, at least!

I later wondered if the staff realized that they were, in fact, the staff. :) You might want to wander down to the Bath House and make sure there's not too vigorous of a bashing going on. Delicate fabrics and so on...

Oatmeal cookies with raisins are an abomination.

Ok I can let the jacket length and the madras thing slide, but this crosses the line!

It's a chocolate chip cookie.  I doubt if such experts as Auguste Escoffier, the Cookie Monster, or Julia Child could tell what kind of cookie a cookie is from pictures on the internet, which may support my theory that it's hard to tell what anything is from pictures on the internet.

This the reason I often wonder why some make bizarre comments about what others are wearing based on pictures posted on the internet.

I am in favor of more people eating cookies and fewer people making bizarre comments.
