Yes, darker shoes would have been better (same shade as the tie would be perfect imo), but the rest is really nice. Black watchband with brown jacket would bother me though.

I think the green of the tie bugs me. any shade of dark blue/burgundy/brown would have been my choice. I am a bit more subdued.

All the colors you mention would work, but with a white shirt and light grey suit, almost any color tie would work imo. Your choices would be good and safe, the olive here is a little more adventurous.

No worries, that's what I took from it as well.

Gorgeous tie! The entire fit is great, of course.

Hi folks,

I have been absent for the past 5 months or so. Sorry guys if i did miss your posts. I'm back and hope to make some more contributions as usual. Find enclosed some photos taken over the weekend with the family.

Note: I thought my pocket square should have been tucked in a little more.

Sander,

Do you upload all your photos into 1 location before posting them in the forum? It would be so awesome to have a consolidated source of all your pictures. I've learned a lot(especially colors) from looking at your outfits; I still have one of you, seated and looking at your phone, in a wheat-colored suit, green tie(maybe the same one form above?), air force blue socks, and chili colored oxfords. One of my fav outfits of all SF til this day. Also have this pic of you in a wide chalkstripe, navy suit with a burnt orange neat. Pretty bad ass.

@mcobinad, my day was not off to a great start here but you brightened it considerably. Thanks for the dose of Adorable Family. (And your pocket square looks fine to me.)
