@alex. Very nice. I hope you enter into the Friday challenge this week. Nice compliment to navy pants

Lunch al fresco on a sunny but cool Sunday. Would have maybe worked for the Friday Challenge but my first choice was a little less casual and a little more city.

Alpaca sport coat: Polo RL (Corneliani)
Shirt: Luxire
Trousers: Suitsupply
Shoes: Allen Edmonds
Pocket square: The Tie Bar
Wristwatch: Omega
Wrist beads: homemade

This might be my first ever head-to-toe AV fit:

Jacket and glasses: Kent Wang
Tie: Conrad Wu

Shirt: Kamakura

Trousers: Rota via No Man Walks Alone

Square: Drake's via No Man Walks Alone

Shoes: Carmina via Skoaktiebolaget

Damn. Now these are slanted pockets!

Quote: Overall, I like the look. But per Flusser, when you're wearing multiples of the same pattern (in your case, stripes) take care to have different scale among all three. To wit, I feel the stripes on your shirt and jacket are too similar. Would be better if the shirt's stripes were a bit wider than the jacket's, but still noticeably narrower than the tie's.

Quote: Like the look very much. Not sure about the jacket's fit, particularly on your left shoulder. Even with some allowances for linen getting a bit wonky, the shoulder's a bit lumpy.

Quote: Welcome to the posters! Couple suggestions, for what they're worth: 1) take a shot just standing, without the hand in the pocket--will make it easier for folks to intelligently opine on the fit. 2) I get the whole understated, solid-with-solid-with-solid look, but using the jacket as the foundation, I think it'd add some interest to layer in a little pattern and/or brighter color via the shirt and tie selection. Again, welcome, and let's see what others think!

Quote: Quite the blue, but I think it works. Not a huge fan of button down shirts with double-breasted jackets though (hard to see, but the roll suggests it's a button down). Otherwise, very nice look!

X-post (sort of) from the Friday Challenge. In the challenge ties are not allowed, but for me a tie is always appropriate.

When I look at the posts in SF I sense that most people take pictures at the start of the day, for me it's the opposite. Therefore my clothes look like they have been worn, which they have. My linen pants are therefore wrinkly, as they should be.

SC: Caruso

Shirt: Drake's

Tie & PS: Shibumi

Pants: Incotex MTM

Shoes: Di Mella

A riot of patterns, but skillfully handled. Looks very nice!
