Even my cologne today is period - Penhaligon's Hamman Bouquet, which has been in production since the 1870's.

"Interwar City Banker" doesn't seem like much of a stretch @upr_crust, and I say that with great respect. :) The fit, on its own merits, is pretty great. But, I can't help thinking that the uniform of choice in those years would have been a stroller.

I'm not a huge fan of Penhaligan's, by and large, but Hamman Bouquet is a standout. I'm a Floris man myself.

I think you would be more at home on the Streetwear & Denim side of the forum. From a cm perspective this is... wait, applying the standards doesn't even make sense.

Awesome braces! Where did you acquire them, if I may ask?

And don't you Americans have rules about when to wear seersucker?

Yes, the same made up "rules" that apply to white and straw hats also apply to seersucker and madras.  @TheoProf is operating under the "After Easter" section of the made up "rules"........

My twills need a pressing. Apologies. Shirt is purple and navy tattersall.

Thanks for the compliment @andy57. These braces are part of a collection I purchased over 30 years ago from a boutique in the states that is now closed.

I see you guys wearing them often which inspired me to pull them out of the attic.

A stroller might be a bridge too far for my office - as it is, my fashion sense is at odds with much of the "business casual" environment in which I work.

As for Penhaligon's vs. Floris, I've been a long-time user of both Floris Elite and Cefiro (the former for cooler months, the latter for warmer), as well as Trumper's Skye. Penhaligon's has the annoying habit of discontinuing scents (or worse, re-formulating them in a detrimental manner) that I like - Racquets is out of production, and they totally botched (IMHO) Eau Sans Pareil, but Hamman has remained, happily.

Squeezing perhaps one more day out of my 3-piece flannel. The shirt is very pale pink while the tie, the last of my three recently delivered Hobers, is olive with white dots.
