I was confused by this comment. Is this a reference to your eidos jacket that's the weird brown-gray color? must not have been paying attn to the forum...

On the points that you have disagreed with me, you are wrong. On the points that you have agreed with me, well done.

CM, whatever you do please don't change. This is good stuff. Wrong headed IMO but great nonetheless. smile.gif

I'm studying Zen mysticism right now, so there is no wrong headedness. Only ill advised style choices. But that's not my problem, it's yours.

Just a quick note and I'll abandon this topic but you seem to have missed the qualifying statements of several people here recently. A close reading of those comments would reveal that you are really arguing against nothing.

I love the jacket and have no issues with it...these weirdos just like to joke about it.

I agree that the tweed jacket and cotton pants don't work too well together, but I like the tie. I don't think it's too bright or garish, it has just enough pop to make the outfit interesting.

The trousers work fine with that jacket.

Grey herringbone tweed jacket and tan cotton trousers. It's prep. It's trad. It's a classic.

The real issue here is the cut and fit of that jacket. It's not good. Theo looks like he's gained 30 pounds wearing it.
