That is the shining light of how awesome polished brass is.

! I was pretty certain that the tie was too bright to conform to StyFo orthodoxy when I ordered it from David. I'm okay with that. I like red ties, too.

I like the tie. It's great for spring and Easter.

I thought about wearing a burgundy cardigan yesterday with my suit, but thought it would be a clash of formality.  The cardigan looks great here.  You should definitely enter this into the challenge.  I'm not sold on the square, if it's cream though.  Cream doesn't vibe with the cool colors of almost everything else in the fit.

@Mr. Six  I'd have preferred a white shirt, but still a gloriously simplistic look.

@An Acute Style what accounted for the tightness/too high buttoning point? For what it's worth, my saying the pants were quite high was not at all a bad thing. High rise all the way.

@Caustic Man that is offensively trad...and I love it.

This Boggi tie channels a kind of patriotic feeling...

New MTM shirt from Spier and Mackay.  Possibly too much roll?

Maybe a bit, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Too much roll? I think @UrbanComposition would like a word with you...

Yep.  UC is the king of the button-down collar.  I don't wear them with a tie myself, but he makes it look good.

So far as roll goes, I much prefer to have more rather than less:  a flat, roll-less button-down is a very unattractive collar on most people.

Cheers,

Ac

Not too much roll. Some rolls can be too much (e.g. too much Cinnabon) but not the collar roll.
