Thanks a lot Andy :D We have only one westie but it is hardwired in his brain that he rules the world so it's a lot of fun :D Like he's afraid of water but he still wants to eat the duck ;)

It's a Brooks Brothers Fitzgerald in a Baird McNutt Irish linen. Not going to win any awards but I enjoy it.

Happy Easter, sorry for the poor lighting and pics.

Here's a suit I inherited from my father. I guess it's likely from the late 60s or early 70s. The cloth has similar colours and complexity to yours.

I got hold of a very similar patterned vintage Reid & Taylor cloth a couple of years ago, but where yours seems to be be red, mine was more orange, in fact in general it had a strongly 'orange' feel to it. I had a feeling that it would be more suitable for a woman's suit, and in the end I decided to give it to a very talented friend of mine who makes her own clothes. She made a lovely long skirt and short jacket. The fabric has a very textural hand and a nice weight to it.

Easter dinner at the Polo Bar.  The exuberance of spring.  Everything Polo except the shirt and watch.  The pants aren't nearly as dark.  I have no idea what color this cardigan is.

The Friday Challenge is to wear a cardigan with a suit. I initially thought that I had no cardigan sweaters in my closet, until I remembered that I had one - an Irish fisherman knit, circa 1968, which my father had made for himself (clever man that he was). To that end, here's my father's handiwork (though I'd never attempt to wear this sweater with a suit - too bulky and too warm).
