If anything,@Kent Wang would benefit from some of the padding and shoulder extension that he's criticising on others. His head always looks unnaturally large.

You know, it is really irritating me at the moment that I can't remember. Before you asked I emailed the tailor to ask him because I really like how they turned out and I recall the fabric came in at least a couple of other colors. When I find out I'll let you know!

Good evening folks. I hope I don't offend with my shoulders too often. shog[1].gif

Tried to inject some color into a boring work day. I wore medium grey flannels and brown strands on the bottom.

I admire the elegant simplicity of this, and also the length of the jacket.  I'm constantly reminding myself to get something similar for my next suit purchase.  I had fun with the fabric on my first suit, so my second suit needs to be a real wardrobe staple.

Bravo, again, to you!

Made from a local tailor in Kuala Lumpur where it's all humid and hot with very few people wearing suits. But I do like to dress up. Wore it for a friend's wedding today.

Charcoal grey Lanitex fabric (nothing much to brag about, only heard it mentioned once in a Russian Styleforum)

Shoes are burgundy Barkers.

^ This didn't format properly. I encourage you to go back and edit the post so that the pics display "in-line". Probably more easily accomplished on a computer rather than a handheld device.

Edit: Thanks!

Edited. Realised that I couldn't just copy the URL link from photobucket.

@rajesh06 : Thanks for progressing from lurker to poster.

Blunt comments on personal grooming are generally considered in poor taste on this forum, so instead I'll tell a story. A few years ago I decided to try dyeing my hair, as I was starting to go a bit grey. I thought it looked ok. Nobody else did. My older brother in particular, a real silverfox if ever there was one, made some withering asides which left me feeling somewhat personally diminished. Eventually I gave up my fight, fight against the dyeing of the light, and just embraced my developing follicular fade-to-grey.

You seem to be engaged in a similar losing battle with your male-pattern alopecia. Perhaps time to regroup?

@upr_crust and @Andy57 : "Gamesmanship" originated as the title of a very witty small book by George Mikes ( pron. "mickesh", an Hungarian emigré who became more British than the British, a little like Jerome K Jerome before him). Specifically, gamesmanship is the precise opposite of sportsmanship; but in a very subtle way. It's a great read.
