HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014) - Page 2299

Thank you for the kind words. I'll keep them in mind. SB was talking about my recent fits. I was wondering in the last two weeks or so what outfits had clashing colors and patterns. I agree that posted outfit above could benefit from a few changes. Thanks.

Nice pic! Is that Zegna birdseye trefeo? I think I have that same suit.

@An Acute Style
Always glad to see you sticking to your style and looking good.

I wanted to dress up a little on this beautiful parisian saturday... So classic menswear with a more casual flair...

Acute, I'm with Butch. Really like the last outfit, but the cardigan makes it skew more casual than I would prefer...not bad by any means, but something I'd prefer the fit be without...

From yesterday, trying to rotate through all my winter items before it warms up too much!

Thanks! Its a slate blue, has a hint of grey in it. Its more of a really light twill not birdseye but I do love me some birdseye

Interesting. In my last fit I'm wearing a red regimental tie, houndstooth tweed coat, striped OCBD and navy cords. How is that not super duper casual already. Are we thinking about the same fit?

@An Acute Style your last fit was good but I think it would have been better if you had changed the tie (something more subtle in color) and other thing that "threw me off a Little" were those buttons int he cardigan... make the cardigan look more like an outerwear piece of clothing rather than a piece made to be worn as a layer... just my 2 cents.

I did like the fit, I thumbed it :)

I have said it many times, it is great to see someone that has his very own style. Not many people can say that. :fonz:

Too casual would be the better term, I suppose...at least in my lexicon.

Admittedly, I'm also not a tremendous fan of the faux 3 piece, so that is certainly skewing my bias.

Maiden voyage for a very thick wool tie from Attolini. It will knot better when I have used it a couple of times because the fabric is still a little stiff.

Suit: Eidos (3-piece worn without the vest because I wanted to flash some braces)

Shirt: Bespoke

PS & braces: Shibumi

Shoes: Edward Green

Bracelets: Viola Milano, Tod's, traditional Sami craft.

Love this new jacket, aside from the slightly high buttoning point, suggestions on pairings? I just threw it over an oxford and some jeans to do some light work this morning. Have a good weekend folks.
