Looks blackwatch to me.

And caustic will fight you to death over whether he said he was ever against navy pants

Nah, I won't fight with Noodles because Noodles is essentially a troll. Not a mean spirited troll (usually), but a troll nonetheless. Anyone would be hard pressed to say this isn't true at least some of the time.

I'm saying that beauty always contains a little bizarreness and that that bizarreness is what makes it exceptionally beautiful."

Anyway, here is my take on the challenge. Last photo is a little reference that SF members will understand. I didn't go out today wearing watch like that - quod licet Iovi non licet bovi!

Thanks @sebastian mcfox.  It was a Christmas present from Mrs K from Shibumi.  This is a better picture of it.  The weight and feel of the tie are superb.

Amazing that it's early March and I had to break out the linen jacket already. Think I need to shift to actual camera and away from iPhone.

Sport coat: Zegna

Tie: Zegna

Shirt: BB

Pants: Oxxford (lighter charcoal gray)

The difference in the apparent color of your shirt between the two images is extraordinary. And disconcerting. Which one is closer to the true color?

Gotta believe it's the blue of the exterior photo, rather than the yellow of the interior shot.

The tie, jacket and shirt are all dark, muted colors (gray, blue, navy, mustard) while the pocket square has bright, vibrant colors (orange, royal blue, cream/white?).  Seems out of place to me.

There are a couple of things going on in the picture which may need explanation. The first is that the tie shares the blue and orange from the hank, albeit in a slightly less shiny silk. The second is that there is a skylight overhead, and the tie is shadow from my head, while the hank is effectively spotlit. This makes the tie seem more subdued and the hank more exuberant than each actually is.

I don't think it was a match made in heaven, but definitely a match.

Awesome square. Where from?

The brand escapes me at the moment, but I bought it from Khaki's of Carmel.

Forgot to put on a square today.  I tried a few when I got home.  Couldn't find one I liked anyway.  More navy pants.

The bottom close up shows more of the blue. Former pic was lit by setting sun and shirt showed much lighter than real color.
