HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014) - Page 2253

New tie.  Brooks Brothers, wool/cotton blend, on the narrow side.  Black watch stripes and black watch plaid.  I was hoping the tie would be more burgundy than red.

FWIW, I'm one of those guys that has seen your stuff in person and it always looks really good so I'm sure it's frustrating to have the pics so drastically undervalue your efforts. It seems all of StyFo CM just has to make it out to the next SF meetup. I see no other way.

My pics, on the other hand, tend to overvalue the quality of my stuff, though tonight I join you in photofailure as I rushed to get a few in before the light disappeared. This caused graininess and slightly exaggerated colors, though the orange tie and square boarder aren't exactly not pretty damn orange. Probably didn't need the rabbit ears on the square.

Nice tie.  It works well with the weave of that jacket.

Cheers,

I think the general consensus is your pics do you and your rigs far too little credit, whereas, for me, Pliny's are some of my favorites.

My .02

Not a bad idea, Ill try that

It is the Phineas Cole suit that we are supposed to enjoy (which I do) but it is the "spoiler" with you in the restaurant that steals the show.

Cufflinks - Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
Braces - Paul Stuart
PS - Ashear
Shoes - Canali
Overcoat - BB
Scarf - Paul Stuart

"Lifestyle" photographs - the first, me wrestling with a Scotch egg at lunch, Northall at the Corinthia Hotel, London, and the second, me trying on a Homburg at Thomas Farthing, London. I didn't buy the hat at the time, but may do so in future - we shall see.

Today. In polarizing topic of shantung ties, I can wholeheartedly say that my relationship with them is definitely love and not hate :)

Details (Click to show)
* suit from Suitsupply
* shirt by Tyrwhitt
* shantung tie by Embassy of Elegance
* pocketsquare by Poszetka Handcrafted
* boots by Yanko

I feel very uncomfortable when someone else is taking my picture and this unfortunately shows. Well, I guess it's another comfort zone I need to expand.

Feedback, as always, warmly welcome (right sleeve of the jacket got pulled up somehow and the pulling on the button doesn't usually happen).
