HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014) - Page 2235

Good day gents!

Today is made of relatively inexpensive items:

- New Kingston suit (HK) - buttonhole made in Paris though

- Boggi 7-fold tie

- Loding shoes with a cognac patina

The only item that defies the rule is the shirt, made by CEGO in NYC, in Zendaline cotton

Not picking on anyone for it, but is it just me or are we seeing a lot of peak lapel SBs lately?

You simply can't fail at dimples, can you? Although I'm wondering wether being good or not at "dimpling" (is that even a word?) has something to do with tie quality as well. Some cheap department store ties, no matter how many tries, always yield poor results.

Definitively not loving the tie here, sorry! You will probably get comments on why a light blue shirt would be better than a white one, alas.

White shirt is the right choice with that tie, I beleive. SF will likely be picky about that tie, but the rig is fundamentally sound to my eye, personal preferences aside on the tie. Very solid batch of posts @TheoProf

May I suggest you try to find window light or head outside to take the shots? And I strongly recommend a shot of the full fit as well.

@TheoProf, it's nice to see another trad inspired poster. I haven't seen an actual J Press suit in a while. By the by, you seem to have some fit issues going on. Do you have your clothes tailored?

Apologies for the washed out photo. Was in a hurry this morning. And yes, the waist needs to be let out just a tad.

Dude. Those shoes are awesome. Sorry, meant that in response to Seamaster Luxe

Very snowy, wet, windy day in Michigan. Green herringbone tweed suit. I wish I had gotten a long in retrospect as the jacket is a tad short. This shirt needs to be retired, sleeves shrunk too much as the jacket sleeves are actually short with my newer shirts. Sorry about that. Have a good one everyone.

Isaia
Borrelli
Rubinacci X 2

Jacket has a slight pull but it is comfortable and doesnt feel snug anywhere. Might have been as I was moving to get in place for the camera.

The jacket is way short. Irredeemable IMO. Toss it, sell it, or donate it.
