@justinkapur You need to be a bit further away as well.

No suggestions, but you looked much better in person. This picture doesn't do you justice. I especially liked your tie. Man, that was a long day for you.

Thank you sir! Did you post a pic of what you wore today? We should have gotten Matthew to take a pic of us.

Havana is quite a slim cut (Hudson is very similar, the only difference I've noticed is the patch breast pocket in the latter), but from my experience Copenhagen, Washington and Lazio are even more tailored. The think to remember is that the last two have structured shoulders which makes the "drop" between shoulders and waistline even more visible.

Today, comments as usual highly appreciated

Recently donning a lot of browns, as it stands.

I wear 42R.

The only SS fits I own are Soho,Madison,Lazio and Havana. Comparing to the single breasted fits I own I would say the Havana is slimmer than the Lazio. Check out the SS thread on this website with plenty of info about the brand.

In theory, those colors pick up on the suit's check, but there's not enough of them in the cloth to start splashing them around the way I did.

It's just too bright. Those colors might have been fine but in a more muted color. Perhaps a wool madder PS. Whatever the case, the pattern on your suit seems so faint that even fairly up close it is hard to notice, giving the impression that only the tie and PS have any pattern to them. I subscribe to the notion that if one wears only two patterns, they should not exist on the tie and PS. It has the same effect as a matching tie and PS although not nearly as gauche (it will work in rare occasions, however. Matching never will).

Hard to tell anything about the fit from these pics, but if you up your shirt game I'd really like it. Maybe a shade or two darker on the shoes, but I admit that's a personal preference.

@manasdirge I posted one a while back. It is a MTM SC from @luxire and I did have the shoulders redone by my tailor in the states since this image. Also, as we had discussed, the length could be longer, shoulders could be a touch wider, and a lower buttoning point would be helpful to flatter my size.

Thanks for sharing!

And pairing this sport coat with grey flannel pants was a great improvement too!:fonz:

Agreed. It looks much more at home over flannel and corduroy. The cloth is a donegal from Molloy, which is much more substantial than say a Harris tweed. It is not only a denser cloth, it is much heavier and softer too. Highly recommended.
