Yep.  It looks bright. Respect.

Sure why not. Got a new jacket yesterday (needs a bit of tweaking, sleeves, waist, hips) and it's basically summer in central Texas already.

Just some unassuming brown chukkas from Land's End below the ankle, so I'll leave those to your imagination.

7-fold tie from Borrelli's "Royal Collection". Stupid name for a series of ties, but they are very nice, even with Borrelli's high standards.

Suit: Caruso

Shirt: Inglese

Tie: Borrelli

PS: Battistini

Shoes: Carmina

Happy Friday everyone. New member to the forum, and my first post on here. Feedback would be greatly appreciated!

For the Friday Challenge.  New tie.  I changed the cardigan at the last minute.  I don't think it was the best choice.  The top is all cool colors and the bottom is all warm.  I had a hard time picking a square so I went with a classic white.  The shirt is purple gingham.

Welcome.

I like the cloth of your suit – subtle checks like that are really fun to furnish. The lapel seems a bit narrow, though. The combination of patterns and colors is okay – the tie (though not my steeze) works well with the suit, though the shirt is somewhat unrelated to the rest – a light blue shirt would look very put together here, or if you found a tie to bring together the other elements. That said, the collar of your shirt is narrow for my tastes, and those shoes really shouldn't be worn with any kind of tailored clothing – especially not a suit. The light color, contrast stitch, and white laces make them firmly casual, even though a wingtip blucher can be a dressy shoe. I would also shy away from (well, more bluntly, never ever wear) very light shoes with a worsted wool suit.

The socks are an excellent choice: fun, but not too fun.

I appreciate the feedback, duly noted!

It's no secret that I prefer your less outlandish combinations and this a very good example. Probably my favourite outfit of yours.
I'm also a fan of Borrelli ties. They make beautiful knots. I do believe they are (or were) official supplier to the erstwhile royal family Di Savoia, so that's probably where the silly collection name comes from.

Thanks. Did not know that there was an actual royal connection. Name less silly then

I did body measurements with @luxire and theirs are the best shirts I've ever owned.

The lesson here: never lie to your doctor or your tailor.

It's Winter.
I'm wearing a Classic Donegal Tweed, Winter weight, primarily B&W.

Those shoes are a no go with that outfit. Far too light.
A pocket square would be nice too.

Not a fan of the shoes either. Not a fan of the heel print showing on the socks.
